Lefty Kreh – Sunday Only - What is there left to say about Lefty? He is an icon in the fishing world and is far and away the most well know figure in fly fishing. He is considered by most to be the ambassador to our sport and is probably the most knowledgeable individual that has ever held a fly rod.

An active outdoor writer for more than 45 years, Lefty has written for almost every major outdoor magazine in the country and many abroad. He is the retired outdoor editor of the The Baltimore Sunpapers and holds a staff position on several outdoor magazines.

He has been given the prestigious "Lifetime Achievement Award" by the American Sportfishing Association, has been honored with the "Lifetime Contribution Award" by the North American Fly Tackle Trade Association and is also in the Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame. In 1997 he was named "Angler of the Year" by Fly Rod and Reel Magazine. Lefty has served a number of years as Senior Advisor to Trout Unlimited, the Federation of Fly Fishers and in addition to serving on many other conservation boards has received a number of honorary awards from such organizations.

Lefty has fished in all 50 of the United States, in every province of Canada, over much of South America, the South Pacific, Europe, Iceland, and many other countries.

Brian O’Keefe - Brian O’Keefe has been serious about fly fishing for the past 30 years. During the past 20, cameras have played a significant part in his outdoor lifestyle.

Brian has traveled to some of the wildest and most remote angling destinations in the world, including: Bikini Atoll, the Seychelles, Kenya, Sierra Leone, Tonga, Cuba and Kashmir. He has also traveled to more accessible locations, such as: the Bahamas, Belize, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Chile, New Zealand, Christmas Island and more. In many of these locations he again chooses to venture off the beaten path, hiking, floating, sea-kayaking or taking a Zodiac into the backcountry.

Brian is also an accomplished fly caster, earning the title of Master Certified Fly Casting Instructor from the Fly Fishing Federation (FFF). He has also placed in, and won many fly casting competitions.

Ken Hanley - A licensed California guide, Ken has been conducting fishing and adventure specialty programs since 1970. Over 14,000 students have taken advantage of Ken’s varied programs both in the field and on the water. His award-winning instructional programs are well respected throughout the adventure industry. He’s a founding member of the "Pacific Pro Surf Association."

His popular instructional DVD and video are titled "Saltwater Salmon on the Fly" and "Coastal Fly Fishing with Ken Hanley & Friends." He’s the author of six books. Ken also writes and photographs for national and regional publications in the outdoor industry.

Ken’s extensive field experience spans the globe; from the highest peaks in Tibet and the Himalaya, to the remote wilderness regions of Asia, New Zealand, Mexico, Europe, and North America.

Ken was chosen as the 2005 inductee into the NCC/FFF Fly Fishing Hall of Fame. For more than twenty years The Hall of Fame award has been presented to the individual who has made outstanding contributions to the sport of fly fishing.

Skip Morris - Skip Morris is a professional fly-fishing writer and is the author of numerous other fly-fishing and tying books. To date, he has played host on three fly-tying videos. He writes regular columns for Flyfishing & Tying Journal and Salmon Trout Steelheader magazines. For years, Skip supported his writing and fishing by playing guitar several nights a week and teaching it at a college. Now he is too busy writing, fishing, and performing fly-tying clinics to do more than practice the guitar an hour or two a day and perform only occasionally. Skip and his wife, Carol, and their three cats live on Washington State's Olympic Peninsula.

Simon Gawesworth - Simon is acknowledged as one of the world's leading authorities on spey casting and has taught and demonstrated spey casting around the world.

His video "International Spey Casting", produced with Rio Products, is recognized as one of the finest instructional videos on casting.

Simon's father taught him to fish at the age of 6. Now 40-something, he has been teaching fly casting professionally since he was 16.

He has both cast and fished for England in British, European and World Championships and was elected Captain of the England team for the 2003 World Fly Fishing Championships.

Terry & Wendy Gunn - Terry is a full time fishing guide and has been since 1983. He and his wife Wendy have traveled the world fly fishing and have captured those spectacular moments by taking photos. Terry’s photos have appeared in most all the fishing publications as well as many magazines and books outside the fishing world.

Terry co-owns Lees Ferry Anglers Fly Shop and Guide Service and Cliff Dwellers Lodge in Marble Canyon AZ. Lees Ferry Anglers is one of the most well-know guide services in the US with full time year-round guides. Terry is an internationally recognized fly fishing expert, author, photographer, and speaker as his travels have allowed him to fish around the world in both fresh and saltwater. In 1986 he co-founded Crystal Creek Lodge, considered by many to be one of Alaska's finest fly-out fishing lodges. He also started Baja Anglers, a fly fishing charter boat operation and retail store in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. He is a consultant to several leading manufacturers of fly fishing equipment and fishing lodges. He has held or holds 10 IGFA world records, all on fly rod both fresh and saltwater.

Wendy is considered to be one of the top women anglers in the world. She has held many IGFA world records both fresh and saltwater. All her saltwater records were prior to the splitting of categories into separated men's and women's divisions. Her records include fly caught striped marlin...136-lbs., wahoo etc.

She won the 2000 Women's World Invitational Fly Fishing Tarpon Tournament in Islamorada FL.

Wendy was the fly fishing host for the television series Fishing the West and Americas Outdoor Journal.

Wendy has won the women's Best of the West casting competition in San Mateo CA. eight out nine events. In 2002 she won the Best of the West finals (the first year she competed) in Salt Lake City and won the grand prize....a Hyde drift boat. Wendy was the first woman to cast over 100-ft. with a 5-weight rod in a sanctioned competition; her cast was 104' 7".

Nick Curcione - In addition to his 35 year career as a university professor in southern California, Nick is internationally recognized as an outdoor writer, instructor, lecturer and tackle consultant with over 40 years of angling experience. He has authored three fly fishing books –The Orvis Guide to Saltwater Fly Fishing, Baja on the Fly, and Tug-O-War, A Fly Fishers Game plus numerous articles that have been published worldwide. Nick has been on the editorial staff of Fly Fishing in Saltwaters magazine since its inception. His skills and writings are the result of his extensive experiences with both fly and light tackle throughout Europe, North and South America.

The name "Curcione" is synonymous with professional saltwater fly fishing. Through the salt scene of the 1980s and 1990s, Nick Curcione developed and wrote about flies and methods that changed the way people fished inshore and offshore. Over the years, Curcione has shared the water with many a great fly-fisher, the collected experiences and knowledge he has gained from these encounters form the rich basis of his books. Coastal anglers of all levels will find that Nick can speak volumes and is an invaluable resource for anything and everything you could wish to know.
