Green River, Utah
Dennis Breer and the guides of Trout Creek Flies invites you to come experience world-class trout fishing on Utah's Green River.
Trout Creek Flies feature quality walk and wade and drift boat fishing trips on the trophy tail water fishery below Flaming Gorge Dam.
This is a region of rugged beauty, colorful history and one of the healthiest trout populations anywhere in the world.
Shocking surveys
conducted by the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources show a fish population of 8,000 to 14,000 fish per mile of river. Fish growth rates
are equally impressive (1" to 2" per month) due to controlled water temperatures that are maintained by a selective withdrawal structure
on the dam. These factors, when combined with special quality oriented fishing regulations, have created a superb year-round trout fishery.
Rainbow, cutthroat and a resident population of wild brown trout, in the 15 to 18 inch range are average. Fishing is restricted to artificial
flies and lures.

Missouri River,
Montana The Missouri River is a very rich "tailwater"
river. With it's high trout populations, weed laced
flats, beautiful mountain scenery, and great hatches, it
is one of the best dry fly fisheries in the West today.
The controlled water flows provide excellent fishing
opportunities year round. The rising Rainbow Trout are
the main attraction. These "hot" fish average 13-19" and
are very prone to surface feeding. Baetis, PMD's,
Caddis, and Tricos are the big hatches here. There is
always a chance to catch a 5+ pound trout on wet flies
too, the big Browns the Missouri has long been famous
for.
